Dakkhan Momin Jamaat 12th Annual Program 2015-2016

Annual Educational Felicitation program is held every year by the Dakkhan Momin Jamaat Pune Committee to appreciate and encourage  students who are striving hard and have excelled well in their academic studies. Students and their parents are awarded for their achievements and participation.

Khiraje aqedat for Marhoom Sadar and Committee Member

This program has a history of 12 years. Since past two years the Annual function is organised by a young education committee headed by Mr Imtiyaz Shabbir Shaikh , with members Mr Bilaal Aminuddin Penwale , Mubin Mohd Gaus Sayyed, Nasir Raffik Mulani and a team of enthusiastic and motivated volunteers. The students were awarded with trophies, certificates and were also gifted tablets, pendrives and bags. The Award ceremony was conducted after Tilaawat-e-Quran, personality development session, and speeches from honoured guests. The guests of the function were honourable Vice Admiral Nizam Nadaph, (designation) Mr. Mubin Tamboli and foreign language expert Alkab Shaikh. The whole event was planned and organized by the young committee members and volunteers under able guidance of Dakkhan Momin Jamaat pune comittee.

The comittee members  of DMJ Pune Mr Ghulam Hussain, Mr Gani shaikh, Mr Nisar Momin, Mr Juber Shaikh, Mr Majid Maulavi, Abdul Latif Mulani and Rashid Momin  whole heartedly helped the youngsters in organising this event.

The function startedwith registration of students at the assembly hall at 10. Over 150 students from all over Pune and neigbouring regions had registered. Inauguration started with Tilaawat-e-Quran by Hafiz Saahab at 10:40am which was carried further with the introduction of activities. Sir Saeed Ahmed were invited for delivering a speech on personality development. (Personality Development session) After the personality development session it was time for lunch. The audience were guided towards the tennis hall, where all arrangements were already made and were served food. The volunteers paid good attention to the need of the guests. After the lunch the audience resettled into the hall and the second part of the function started. The second part also commenced with Tilaawat-e-Quran and a Naat. Ex-Chairperson Janaab Abdul Karim were remembered and a khiraj-e-Aqidat was offered. A video of him speaking about all his deeds and work for the jamaat and muslimeen was played. The President of Jamaat Haji Rafiuddin Momin and President of Advisory comittee then honoured the guests on the stage with a bouquet and few words about them.

A speech by Jamaat member Janab Abdul Majeed Maulavi was delivered on the current status of muslim’s and actions to be taken to raise it higher. Janab Abdul Majeed introduced the audience with his published book. Speech was further carried by President for motivation. 

A special honour and felicitation of Mr. Munir Shaikh Sir and Mr. Jehangir Momin Sir for life time appreciation was given by the honorary guest Vice Admiral Nijam Nadaph. Senior Comittee members Mr Shamshuddin Momin was also present for the program. The  program was further continued with speeches from the guests Mr. Mubin Tamboli on the available examinations for students, Ms Alkab Shaikh on career in Foreign Languages and Vice Admiral Nijam Nadaph on People Ethics and career in Upsc and armed  Services.

The speeches guided the students and parents well and defined the points of improvement of not only as a person but as a society as well. After the felicitation and guiding speeches, the award ceremony began. Not only the children achieving in academics were awarded but achievers in sports, karate, skating, drawing and other activities were awarded too. Guinness world record achiever, national -level and state-level achievers were awarded.
The students having top ranks in SSC, HSC and Post-graduation were awarded with trophies, certificates and a tablet. The runner ups were also awarded trophies, certificates and bags. The committee members and the guests awarded the student achievers with the trophies and gifts. At the end, feedback forms were circulated and collected by the volunteers.
The whole event was concluded by a special vote of thanks for the chief guests and all the students happily heading back home with their prized trophies and memories.
